Cajuput (Melaleuca
cajuputi)
Is a form of Melaleuca (Tea Tree). It has been said to have amazing
tissue-regenerating properties. May help with acne, arthritis, asthma,
bronchitis, bursitis, catarrh, colds, coughs, cystitis, dysentery,
enteritis, flu, hay fever, headaches, infections of the urethra, insect
bites, intestinal problems, stiff joints and muscles, pneumonia,
psoriasis, respiratory infections, sinusitis, skin (oily and spots),
sore throat, toothache, urinary complaints, viral infections.
Therapeutic Properties: Mild analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, expectorant.
Application: Appropriate areas on feet; directly on areas of concern; diffused.
Aromatic: Diffuse carefully - quite pungent; said to benefit the 1st Chakra.
Contraindications: If not absolutely pure, can cause further blistering and skin
eruptions; NEVER, NEVER take internally: it can cause vomiting and
internal bleeding; this is an excellent oil, but use with caution.
