Information on Butterfly Express Carrier Oils

Sweet Almond Oil (Purnus Amygdalus Dulcis)

Saponification Value: 193 mg KOH/g of Fat

We love this oil. Sweet Almond is used and loved by Massage Therapists. It has a wonderful feel and is absorbed into the skin faster than any other fixed oil. This means, as far as carrier oils go, this one will go the deepest into the tissues of the skin and leave less mess on your sheets and clothes. Our massage therapist friends go wild over sweet almond. Your friends and family will love it, too!

Butterfly Express Carrier Oil

Our carrier oil is a special blend of seven carrier oils including, Grapeseed, Safflower, Almond, Olive, Jojoba, Avocado, Apricot, and Rosehip. Because this special blend is made in house, you can only get it here. It includes oils that absorb faster and that are wonderful for the skin. A truly wonderful blend for dry skin.

These two elements are sold separately because the moment you mix an essential oil with a carrier oil, such as almond, the molecular structure of the essential oil begins to break down and the therapeutic properties are lost. To prevent this, we suggest that you mix them at the time of application. Le Tenda Care is a truly wonderful oil for tired sore muscles and for pulled tendons.
